Robert S. Bobby Harmon, 47, of Tilton, passed this Life at 7:17am on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on March 9, 1963, in Danville, the son of John and Shirley (Sands) Harmon. Bobby is survived and will be missed by his mother, Shirley Harmon, step-father, Robert Montgomery, and his girlfriend, Kristi Foster, all of Tilton. His two brothers, David Harmon of LA, Allan (Margaret Kruger) Harmon of Tilton, two sisters, Debbie (Tom) Fletcher of Ridge Farm, and Janis (Richard) Harmon-Colby of Tilton. Four nieces, Kari, and Kaitlyn Fletcher, Nicole, and Meghan Harmon, two nephews, Tommy Fletcher, and Joshua Harmon, four great-nieces, Morgan Colby, Bailey, Donte, and Lilly Harmon, one great-nephew, Jonathan Colby, his aunt, Rosie Rutan, and many, many friends also survive him. His father, John, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and his uncle, Rich Rutan preceded Bobby in death. Bobby worked 2 years for Norfolk-Southern Railroad before his injury occurred. He enjoyed woodworking, mushroom hunting, drawing, camping, fishing, and working in his yard. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy and Chicago Cubs Fan and his favorite holiday was Halloween. He will be missed by all that knew him. A memorial service to Celebrate the Life of Robert Bobby Harmon will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Vineyard Church in Danville with pastor Jay Sorrell officiating. Private inurnment will take place at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, is handling arrangements.
