Robert 'Robb' Warren

Savoy - Robert E. (Robb) Warren, 75, of Savoy passed away at 3:45 PM on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Champaign-Urbana Nursing and Rehab. He was born on December 27, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Eddson T. Warren and Lucille (Rager) Atkinson. He is survived by two brothers, Mark (Marla) Atkinson of Kalamazoo, MI and Michael Atkinson of Phoenix, AZ; and four nephews, Jeffrey Diltz, Bruce Diltz, Michael Bembry, and Robert Bembry. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Leah Lanzarotta. After High School, Robb served his country by enlisting in the United States Army until his discharge in 1969. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, and later drove a school bus for St. Thomas More High School in Champaign. Aside from his work, Robb was an avid motorcyclist and was a longtime member of the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. He also loved photography and videography. Per Robb's wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at Danville National Cemetery in Danville. Sunset Funeral Home, Champaign-Urbana Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
