Robert 'Perk' Rahm

Robert "Perk" Rahm, 78, of Muncie IL., passed away at 5:55 am on Thursday June 18, 2013 at his home in Muncie. Robert was born on May 22, 1935 in Danville IL. He was the son of Frank and Edith (Wood) Rahm. He married Pamela "Penny" Pilkington in 1975 in Danville, she preceded him in death in March of this year. Robert is survived by sons Michael Wilt Jr. of Champaign, IL., Robert (Layne) Wilt of Severn, MD., Raymond (Michelle) Wilt of York, PA. and Dale (Traci) Wilt of Muncie, IL.; "daughter" Jane Harrier Danville, IL.; grandchildren - Thomas Harrier, Michelle Harrier, Holly White, Shawn Madden, Robert Wilt, Jr., Candice Shepherd, Candace Wilt, Patrick Byrd, Brandon Wilt, Kyle Wilt, Brittany Wilt, Dale Wilt, Jr., Andra Wilt, Caitlyn Wilt, Tyler Gutierrez, Zach Wilt, Kayla Wilt, Jacob Wilt, Bailey Wilt, Ayden Wilt, Makenzie Wilt, Marci Wilt, Cassiday Wilt, Calvin Wilt and Elysse Wilt; and 15 great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Brittany Wilt. A man of great faith Perk was a devoted Christian as well as a loving husband and father. He worked in construction as a roofer and carpenter with the local union his retirement after many years of service. Perk loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and will be missed by all those who knew him. As per Roberts wishes he was cremated by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville Il. A memorial gathering will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday August 3, 2013 at the Community Church of God in Danville with Pastor Jeremy Zerkle officiating.
