Robert Martin

Robert S. Sloan Martin, 49, of Westville passed away at 2:21 a.m. Saturday May 29, 2010 near his home. He was born on September 10, 1960 in Danville, IL the son of Robert O. and Constance A. (Ambrose) Martin. Survivors include his son, Shaun S. Martin of Chicago, his parents of Westville, three sisters, Linda Kruger of Danville, Margie (Mark) Potter of Neenah, WI, and Lori (Kenneth) Moreman of Tilton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother in law, Jody Kruger. Robert worked at Quaker for 28 years. He also worked at Bryant Industries. He was a member of the Quaker Oats Union. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and riding his Harley. Robert loved volunteering and doing things for others. He loved raising his livestock and called them his ladies.
