Robert M Doggett

Robert Mason Doggett III, 65, of Westville passed away at 9:06 AM on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his home. He was born on April 14, 1948 in Danville, the son of Robert and Dorothy (Castleberry) Doggett Sr. He was previously married to Charlene Erikson who is still living and later married Carla Barnes. She preceded him in death in 1997. Surviving him are one son- Sean (Sandi) Doggett of Georgetown, two daughters- Staci (Wylie) McIntosh of Brownsburg, IN, Jami Doggett of Florida, one brother- Paul (Cindy) Doggett of Ridge Farm, four grandchildren- Hayden Doggett, Rece Doggett, Olivia McIntosh, Rachel McIntosh, several nieces and nephews and a special caregiver- Aida Harvey, mother in law- Thelma Barnes of Danville and a special sister in law- Dena (Jesse) Jenkins of Westville. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two brothers- Ken and Keith Doggett. Robert graduated from Westville High School then began working at General Motors as an electrician where he retired after 30 years of service. He liked to travel, and enjoyed watching his grandkids sporting events and spending time with his friends and family. A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the American Legion Post 51 in Westville.
