Robert Lyle 'Bob' Bolser Sr.

Robert Lyle Bob Bolser Sr. 81 of Westville passed away at 10:55 p.m. Friday June 17, 2011 at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman. He was born on January 25, 1930 in Danville the son of Elbert and Opal Cox Bolser. Bob married Winifred James on February 25, 1954 in Danville; she preceded him on December 24, 1999. Surviving is one son Robert Lyle Bob (Christine) Bolser Jr of Westville, a grandson Bryan Bolser of Westville. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Tom, Ted and Ron also two sisters Helen Askins and Marge Slinker. Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He retired from TEE-Pak in Danville after 28 years of service. Bob was a member of the Westville American Legion # 51 and a 32 degree mason with the Catlin Masonic Lodge. A Celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 22, 2011 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home with Raymie Gordon Officiating. A Masonic service will be at 1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral on Wednesday. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville with Military Honors by the Westville American Legion #51.
