Robert Lee Roderick

Clinton, Ind. - Robert Lee Roderick, 78, of Clinton, passed away at 5:30 a.m. EDT Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Roudebush V.A. Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born August 31, 1937 in Danville, Illinois the son of the late Wilbur Allen and Thelma Jane (Cole) Roderick. Survivors include his sister, Roberta Hinote of Veedersburg, Indiana and brother, Harold (Alayne) Roderick of Clinton, Indiana. Robert was preceded in death by his infant sister, Shirley Roderick; sister, Patsy Ruth Roderick; four brothers, Gary, Bernard, James and Charles Roderick. Robert retired from Forte Trucking Company in Peoria, Illinois. He was a Vietnam War Veteran serving with the United States Navy. Robert graduated from Newport High School in 1957. There will be no services. Burial of cremains will be at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana at a later date. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
