Robert Lee Greene

Danville- Robert Lee Greene, 48, of Danville went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, July 3, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Danville. He was born April 15, 1963 in Danville to James and Emma Greene. Robert was married in 1985 and has three surviving sons, Bobbie, Steven, and Jason. He is also survived by a brother James (Debbie) Greene of Danville. He was preceded in death by a brother Mark in 1995, and his grandparents. Robert graduated from Danville High School and was a mechanic, owning his own business of Greene Automotive. He enjoyed fishing and wood working. Robert also served in the Air Force from 1986-1990. A service to celebrate the life of Robert Greene will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Kent Tibben will officiate. Burial will follow at Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Wednesday, July 6, also at Sunset in Danville.
