Robert Gustin

Robert Bobby G. Gustin, 60, of Danville, died at 10:12 am EST on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the VA Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born December 14, 1945 in Piqua, Ohio the son of Harold Benton and Osa Helen (Reed) Gustin. He married Charlotte Nevels at Olivet Nazarene Church in 1970. They later divorced. Robert is survived by one son: Brian Gustin of Danville; one brother: Russell Gustin of Georgetown; two sisters: Myra Davis of Danville and Ruth (Marvin) Fitzwater of Georgetown; two grandchildren: Robert James Benton Gustin and Shelby Kaye Gustin both of Danville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister: Pauline Nelk. Robert served in the United States Army. He worked as a fork lifter operator for Hyster until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed golfing, trout fishing, bowling, and helping to take care of his friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a Mason, a member of the American Legion Post #203 in Georgetown and Gratto. He enjoyed his daily meetings with his friends at Dales Tavern for coffee and breakfast. He also liked meeting with his retired friends once a month for breakfast.
