Robert Golladay Sr.

Robert W. Golladay Sr., 86, of Westville, passed away at 8:15am on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at VA Illiana Health Care, Danville. He was born on June 19, 1931, in Ashmore, IL, the son of John & Estella (Schwitzer) Golladay. He was united in marriage to Ella Mae Evans in 1958. She preceded him in death. He will be dearly missed by two daughters, Tina (Rick) Duprey & Nona (Lenny) Dills; son, Robert (Donna) Golladay Jr; sister, Maxine Barbee; grandchildren, Stacy (Joe) Woods, Lonnie Estes Jr, Joshua Baldwin, Jon Baldwin, Bobby Golladay Jr, Amy (Micky) Young & Alex (Brittney) Golladay; and several great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by parents, one granddaughter, Kristy Etchison; two sisters, Emaline one brother, Dale. Robert was proud to be a front line medic in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, & walking in his youth. He loved spending time with his children & grandchildren. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at 10:00am on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Sunset-Urbas Chapel, 414 S. State St, Westville. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Danville National Cemetery.
