Robert G. Luther

TILTON - Robert G. Luther, 70, of Tilton, passed away at 9:30pm, Monday, September 10th, 2007, at North Logan Health Care in Danville. He was born on December 19, 1936, in Georgetown, IL, the son of Ross and Sarah (Jeffers) Luther, both deceased. He had been previously married to Esther Ross, she survives of Tilton. Those who will miss him include: his sisters, Dorothy (Russell) Davis of Georgetown, Alice (Rick) Dailey of Georgetown, Belva (Steve) Drake of Georgetown, Diane (Dan) Winkler of Paris, IL, and Janice (Ron) Throckmartin of Paris, IL; and many extended family including several nieces, nephews, and cousins. His brother-Virgil, and two sisters-Betty & Sheryl, preceded Robert in death. He worked for Bumper Works of Danville. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed listening to country music, going for drives, and visiting with his very special sister, Dorothy and his special aunt, Lydia Graham of Houston, TX. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, September 13th, 2007, at Crown Hill Cemetery, Ridge Farm, IL. Pastor James Blue has been asked to officiate the service. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, is in charge of arrangements.
