Cayuga, Ind. - Robert F. Donald, 83, of Cayuga, passed away at 4:36 p.m. EDT Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana. Robert was born August 4, 1932 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of the late Ira J. and Eulalie C. Eubank Donald. Robert married Ruby G. Swank on March 27, 1960 in Cayuga, Indiana. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2014. Survivors include one son, Rick(Patti)Donald of Covington, Indiana; one daughter, Bonnie(Jerry)Delp of Cayuga, Indiana; four grandchildren, Cheryl(Scott)Abernathy; Adam(Samantha)Delp; Misty(Eric)Davis and Benjamin(Lexi)Donald, and ten great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by three brothers. Robert retired from Olin Corporation in Covington, Indiana as a sheet metal worker. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Robert was a member of the Stringtown Church of God south of Covington the Indiana Archaeological Society and was a former Boy Scout Master for Cayuga Troop 68. He enjoyed woodworking, mushrooming, fishing, camping, traveling and going on missionary trips.
