Robert Earl Pratt Jr.

Robert Earl Pratt Jr., 62, of Alvin, Illinois passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2021. He was born on July 30, 1958 to Robert and Rose (Cassidy) Pratt.

He married his first wife, Teresa Stawser and together they had one son, Jason (Karyanna) Hedgecock of Rossville. He then married April Lawrence and together they had two daughters, Gina (Lucas Bennett) of Alvin and Bobbi (Henry) Moulden of Potomac.

He is survived by seven brothers, Butch (Belinda) Pratt, Scott (Tammy), Rusty (Lisa), Keith (Angela), Mike (Kathy), Brandon (Melissa), and Leighton; four sisters, Nicci (Brian) Noel, Dana (Brian) Phillips, Rhonda (David) Phillips, and Robin (John) Duprey; as well as one very special extra brother Kenny (Mary Jane) Deck.

Roberts was preceded in death by both parents, Robert and Rose Pratt; his extra parents, Earl and Phyllis Lawrence; and one sister, Dorothy Accord.

Robert had twelve grandchildren that meant the world to him, Kylie, Gracelynn, Ellianna, Legend Hedgecock, Cassidy, Ethan, Damien Allison, Payton Bennett, Keaton Pratt, Abby, Jc, and Devin Moulden. He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved as his own. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gun collecting. He spent most of working career in construction. After leaving the work force Robert spent most of his time with his family and his "extra" kids that were very special to him. He had a heart of gold and loved everyone unconditionally. He was an extraordinary father to not only his own children but to the many he claimed as his own throughout his life as well.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Alvin, IL. Visitation will be held the evening prior on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
