Robert E. Streuer, Jr.

Tilton Robert "Bob" Streuer, Jr, 68, of Tilton passed away at 1:25 PM on February 21, 2021 at Accolade Heathcare in Danville, IL.

Bob was born on February 28, 1952 the son of Robert E. and Laura I. (Miller) Streuer, Sr in Danville, IL. He married Karen Gunia on February 12, 1983 in Danville, IL and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Streuer of Tilton, IL, one daughter, Amber (Nate) Byram of Oakwood, IL one stepdaughter, Melissa (Barry) Blankman of Lafayette, IN, two granddaughters, Presley and Reagan Byram of Oakwood, IL and two step-grandsons, Brandon Coe of Monterey, CA and Dylan Park of Lafayette, IN, as well as a niece, Camille Sciscoe of Muskogee, OK and a great nephew, Andrew (Shanon) Foster of Lafayette, IN.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Darlene Donaldson, Jackie Link and Sonna Streuer.

Bob worked for Butler the Florist for many years and enjoyed spending his free time singing and playing the bass guitar in several bands, going to Nashville to the Grand Ole Opry, watching the Mecum Auto Auctions, and rooting for the Chicago Cubs.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834. Barbara Donaldson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the visitation and services wear a mask and practice social distancing.
