Robert Dunwoody

Robert L. Bob Dunwoody, age 59, of Danville, passed away at 8:15 am on Friday, December 26, 2008 at his home. He was born September 8, 1949 in Danville, the son of John and Pauline (Haworth) Dunwoody. Bob married Debbie Etchison on December 12, 1986 in Danville. She survives. He is also survived by three sons: John (Renee) Dunwoody, James (Niki) Cullum, D. Parker (Denise) Dunwoody; three daughters: Megan Pfeffer, Misty (Rob) Huges, Sarah (Ryan) Seymour; one brother: John Jack Dunwoody; one sister: Linda Sue Fletcher; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson: D. Payton Dunwoody. Bob was a graduate of Danville High School. He worked at Lauhoff and recently worked as the manager of Valley Run Mobile Home Park. Bob enjoyed being outdoors and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service for Bob Dunwoody will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Sunsets Community & Life Tribute Center (formerly Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Home) in Danville.
