Robert Bush

Robert E. Bush,99, of Danville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center. Robert was born August 14, 1914, the son of Dewey and Flossie Bush. He married June Sanders on July 11,1935 in Danville. She preceded him in death in 1995. He later married Louise Cassel on April 5, 1998. She survives. Other survivors include 3 children, Janet (George)Ballard of Kentucky, Ann Sturgeon of Georgia, and Alan (Diana) Bush of North Carolina; one brother, Donald (Alice) Bush of Danville; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Robert worked at R &S Corporation where he was a lithographer for 48 years. In his free time he enjoyed photography, bowling, and golf. Robert was an active member at Pleasant Grove Bible Chapel in Danville where he served as treasurer for 25 years. A celebration of the life of Robert Bush will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, a Life Celebration Home. Officiating services will be Pastor Doug McCord. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
