Robert D. (Bob) Booth 88, of South Beloit, Illinois, left this world on November 16, 2024, to join his family and friends that were calling him home. Bob was born in Danville, Illinois, on December 27, 1935, the son of Clarence E. and Pearl (Wintersteen) Booth, who preceded him in death.
Also, preceding Bob in death is his siblings, Gayle French, Clarence E. (Jr.) Booth, Ralph (Dean) Booth, and Laura K. Sasseen.
Bob is survived by one brother, John H. (Patricia) Booth of Pace, Florida, and one sister Merna J Webb of Delphi, Indiana, his five children; Brigit (John) Steinbrenner of Hillsdale, Indiana, Kristin (Mike Frye) Ebert of Tylertown, Mississippi, Peni (John) Boschma of South Beloit, Illinois, Robert “Bud” Booth of Milton, Wisconsin, and Penny (Phelan) Voegeli of Orfordville, Wisconsin, eighteen grandchildren; Chuck ,Carrie, Patrick, Erik, Dannieal, Jason, Darren, Morgan, Hailey, Tone, Hayden, McKenzie, Cain, Paisley, Johnny, Sammie, Mercedes, and Natalia, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, with many very special nieces and nephews he loved very much.
Bob’s love for his family was always 100%! He enjoyed watching Green Bay Packer Games, Westerns, Bob enjoyed owning and driving his Corvette. Bob also was a big Country Music fan. He will be missed and remembered forever by all who knew and loved him.
Cremation rights will be accorded by Sunset Funeral Home DeVerter Chapel in Cayuga, Indiana, 215 North Division Street. Bob will be laid to rest at Thomas Cemetery at a later date.
