Robert 'Bobbie Mike' M. Fridmanski

Robert "Bobbie Mike" M. Fridmanski, 66, of Danville, passed away at 11:15am, Monday, December 31, 2018, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman, IL. He was born on March 10, 1952, in Danville, the son of Robert and Catherine {Marjancik} Fridmanski. He was married to Anita Johnson on July 17, 1976 in Westville. She will miss him dearly.

Bobbie Mike worked for Glen T. Smith Auto Dealership as a mechanic and later with Win C. Smith. He was also a custodian at Westville School District. He had been a volunteer for the Westville Fire Department for several years. He was known to love the Chicago Bears and really enjoy watching Demolition Derbies, as well as love listening to Oldies Music. Bobbie Mike cherished his family and spending time with them, especially his grandson, Emerson.

Those who will also miss him include: his mother, Catherine Fridmanski; his son, Eric (Samantha) Fridmanski of Westville; his daughter, Amy (Brian Gum) Fridmanski of Virginia; his grandson, Emerson Fridmanski; his brothers, Timothy (Kathy) Fridmanski, Thomas Fridmanski, & Raymie Fridmanski; and his good friend, Mark Potter. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Fridmanski.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Westville with Father Dues officiating. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Autism Speaks Charity. Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville assisted his family with arrangements.
