Rita F. Snook

Rita F. Snook, 66, of Westville, passed away at 7:36pm, Thursday, May 2, 2019, at her home. She was born on February 13, 1953 in Danville, IL, the daughter of Marlin and Freda {Farrell} Rossiter. She had been married to Danny Snook. He preceded her in death in 2016.

Rita is survived by: her father, Marlin Rossiter; her sons, Danny (Rebecca) Snook & David (Alicia) Snook; her grandchildren, Ryan, Erik, Ashley, & Addieson Snook; her step-brothers, Troy (Penny) Pate & Scot Pate; her sisters, Cindy (Gale) Williams, Brenda (Bill) Roberts, & Tammy (Ronnie) Hemrich; and her special friend, Nadine Miller. She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandson, Lukas.

Rita was employed at Quaker Oats for over twelve years. She loved baking, sewing, and flower gardens. She liked watching TV Westerns and going camping. Above all else, Rita loved spending time with her sons and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Ritas life will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Westville, located at 414 S. State Street with Pastor Paul Rebert officiating. Visitation will be held 12:00pm-2:00pm on Tuesday prior to her service at the funeral home. As per her wishes, Rita will be cremated.
