Richard Raymond Clawson Richard Raymond Clawson, 76, of Danville, passed away at 12:55 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. He was born July 7, 1937 in Momence, IL., the son of Earl and Marion Clawson. He married Carla Thomas on June 29, 1957 in Danville. She preceded him in death. Surviving him are two sons, Tracy and Eric Clawson; one daughter, Rachel Braunstadter; four grandchildren, Cody, Elliotte, Rowan Clawson, and Rayne Braunstadter; one brother, David Clawson; and one sister, Joan Thomas. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents. Richard was happy to be retired and was active in Georgetown congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. He also loved spending time with family and friends. A Celebration of Richards Life will be held at 3:00 pm, on Saturday December 7, 2013, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Danville.
