Richard Patterson

Richard Patterson, 73, of Georgetown, passed away at 12:28pm, Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at his home. He was born the son of Charles Marion and Madonna June {Brown} Patterson on February 8, 1948, in Danville, IL. Richard is survived by his brothers, Robert Patterson of Chrisman and John Patterson of Georgetown, and his sisters, Donna Brimner of Paris, IL and Bonita Cook of Cayuga, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard had worked at Northfork Western Railroad, Lebanon Chemical Company, TC Taylor & Co., and Master Guard. He enjoyed traveling with his parents and sister, Donna, as well as going fishing, hunting, and driving around with his dogs. A celebration of Richards life will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, August 15, 2021, Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846. Visitation will be held 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Sunday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
