Richard John Warner

Richard John Warner, 60, of Veedersburg, IN, passed away in his home on Friday, October 26, 2018. Rich was born August 08, 1958 to Richard T. and Gloria (Deacon) Warner. He married Lisa Helms on March 01, 1980. Rich graduated from Covington High School in 1976 and he built a business as a successful drywall and paint contractor. Rich was a loving husband and father, but no one brought him as much joy as his beloved grandchildren. He created adventures for them that will last a lifetime. Rich was also an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with family, friends, and the community. In recent years, Rich discovered a love for woodworking. Listening to music in his workshop brought him happiness and peace. Rich is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Gloria Warner. He is survived by his wife Lisa Warner, children Brittany (Costa) Demou, Bethany Blacketer, Bridgett (Ryan) Beck and Ladd Warner, grandchildren Rylan Mayotte, Scarlett and Oliver Demou, Beckam and Brooks Blacketer, Rivers and Harlow Beck, siblings Michael Warner, Suzanne Warner, Rosemary Warner, Pete Warner, and David Warner and their spouses, and nephews Aaron Warner and Christopher Bunch. A celebration of Rich's life will be held at 10:00 AM EST on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Sunset's Covington Chapel 420 3rd Street Covington, IN 47932 with Fr. Samuel Futral officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM EST Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date. The family would appreciate donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers.
