Rhonda Crippin

Danville - Rhonda Kay Crippin, 51, of Danville passed away at 6:23 AM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on November 14, 1962 in Danville to Robert Darrell and Joyce Goble Mingee. She is survived by two children, Kevin (Angie) Mahoney of Westville and Katie Crippin of Westville; her mother, Joyce Oakley of Danville; a sister, Tracy (Jeff) Wolfe of Danville; brother, Russ (Sheila) Mingee of Georgetown; two step-sisters, Lanette Judy and Linanne Shanks; and five grandchildren, Isaac, Tyler, and Alaina Mahoney, Arieana Hudson, and Kaiden Hasselbring. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert MIngee, and her step-father, Lynn Oakley. Rhonda had worked as a Deli Worker for Eagles Grocery Store and Price Less Foods. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching TV shows and sci-fi movies, and playing Euchre and Rummy. Rhonda also loved to spend time with her friends and family. The family would life to extend a special thank you to all of her close friends for their help in Rhondas time of need. Per Rhondas wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Memorials may be made to the National Association for Children of Alcoholics.
