COVINGTON- Rhonda J. (Curry) Baxter, 39, of Covington, IN, formerly of Westville, passed away at 10:54pm on Tuesday, September 13th, 2005, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. She was born on September 13th, 1966, in Danville, the daughter of Ronald E. and Jane (Tranchant) Curry. On December 1st, 2002, Rhonda was united in marriage in Las Vega, NV, to Eric Baxter. He survives. Those who will deeply miss Rhonda include: her mother, Jane Curry of Westville; her two sisters, Melanie Curry and Jackie Curry, both of Westville; her brother, R.C. Curry of Georgetown; her step-son, Jeremy Baxter of Georgetown; her four nieces, Nicole Hughes of Westville, Amber Land of Georgetown, Kylee Walag of Westville, and Morgan Parrish of Covington, IN; and one nephew, Devin Broderick of Westville; Lee Blondeel, who was like a second father to Rhonda; her numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Ron, and both maternal and paternal grandparents. Rhonda was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed bowling, bike riding, gardening, raising animals and shopping. A celebration of Rhondas life will be 10:00am on Saturday, September 17th, 2005, at Sunsets South Westville Chapel located at 414 S. States Street in Westville. Officiating will be Reverend James Blue. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Friday, September 16th, 2005 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Rhondas name for a bronze plaque to be display at the cemetery.
