Rhea G. Swearingen

Rhea Gale (Parks) Swearingen of Tilton, IL went to be with the Lord at 3:39 pm on January 29, 2018. Rhea was born August 29, 1943 daughter of Dale and Beryl (Harvey) Parks. She is survived by three sons Mark (Chitra) Swearingen of Denver, CO., Robin (Julie) Swearingen of Twinfalls, ID., Terry (Autumn) Swearingen of Danville, IL., 12 grandchildren Marie (Barry) Grimm of Oakwood, IL., Chris (Jessica) Swearingen of Hoopeston, IL., Craig (Haley) Swearingen of Danville, IL., Ben (Danielle) Swearingen of Ridge Farm, IL., Ashley (Michael) Turner of Ambia, IN., Jon (Ashley) Swearingen of Ridge Farm, IL., Daniel (Lakyn) Swearingen of Georgetown, IL., Erik Swearingen of Tilton, IL., Haley Swearingen of Tilton, IL., Devyan Swearingen of Danville, IL and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bobby Parks, 2 grandchildren Dalton and Randi Swearingen, and 1 great-grandchild Nicholas Swearingen. Rhea graduated from Danville High School in 1961. She later continued her education at the Lakeview College of Nursing. Rhea provided in home healthcare for many years. She then left the healthcare field and later retired from CCL. Rhea had a passion for fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, and traveling through the Smokey Mountains. A celebration of life graveside service will be held for Rhea on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Park 3901 North Vermilion Danville, IL 61834.
