Reva L. Lucas, 84, of Danville, passed away at 3:40a.m., Friday, July 29, 2005 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Reva was born on March 11, 1921 in Bismarck, Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Curry) Wilson. She married Norman L. Lucas in Decatur Illinois. He survives. She is survived by her husband-Norman Lucas of Danville; 3 sons- Terry (Celia) Rouse of Parkville, Missouri, Bob (Saeko) Rouse of Salinas, California, and Bill (Chris) Lucas of Danville; 4 daughters- Jody Bentley of St. Joseph, Illinois, Cindy (Charlie) Belcher of St. Joseph, Illinois, Megan (Mike) Higdon of Berea, Kentucky, and Beth (Gary) Ingold of Danville; 2 sisters- Deane Starr of Danville and Josephine Swan of Bismarck; 15 grandchildren- Stephanie (Paul) Lyman of Plainsfield, Illinois, Dawn (David) Keller of Overland Park, Kansas, Barbara Bentley of South Pasedena, California, Robert Bentley of Austin , Texas, David (Gretchen) Rouse of Parkville, Missouri, Mike Higdon of Berea, Kentucky, John (Dawn) Ingold of Washington D.C., Tom (Jessica) Bentley of Carpentersville, Illinois, Joshua Belcher of Royal, Illinois, Christopher (Molly) Rouse of Fenton, Missouri, Mark (Gillian) Ingold of Danvers, Illinois, Doug Lucas of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nathan (Gabi) Ingold of Danville, Jesse Belcher of St. Joseph, Illinois, and Jeff Lucas of Danville, Illinois; 11 great-grandchildren- Joshua and Matthew Lyman of Plainsfield, Illinois, Megan, Lauren, and Daniel Keller of Overland Park, Kansas, Trey, Ty, T.J. Rouse of Parkville, Missouri, Caleb Johnson of Ogden, Illinois, Kimberly Ingold of Danvers, Illinois, and Lilly Ingold of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents- Robert and Gertrude Wilson; 1 son- Ronald; 4 brothers- Dennis, Francis, Robert, and Glenn; 2 sisters- Lois and Thelma. Reva enjoyed being around her family and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading. Reva loved working in the nursery for 30 years at First Baptist Church in Danville.
