Reva June Johnson, 75, of Danville, passed away at 9:10 PM on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. Reva was born on May 26, 1936 in Danville the daughter of James and Iva (Brown) Lister. She married Wilford Johnson on August 2, 1954 in Danville. He preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons- Wilford "Pete" Johnson of Attica, IN, David (Rose) Johnson of Decatur, IL, Richard (LaDonna) Johnson of Leesburg, FL, two daughters-Minnie (Ray) O'Banion of Georgetown, Dorie Benting of Westville, one sister- Freda Hall of Kentucky, six grandchildren- Katie (Gary) Ritter, Aaron (Lisa) O'Banion, Andy O'Banion, David (Amber) Johnson, Kim (Jeremy) Eaton and Jill Lynn Johnson, ten great-grandchildren and a Special Companion who she loved very much Alford Johnson of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son-Terry Johnson, three brothers-Lloyd, Albert and Chuck Lister, three sisters-Opal Klein, Leota Little and Peg Weiler and two grandchildren- Ron "Dudder" Roberts and Richard "Okie" Johnson Jr. Reva June loved to play cards, dice, working crossword puzzles, TV shows, going to the Riverboat in Peoria, talking on the phone, taking care of people, helping anyone she could, collecting angels, her three dogs and most of all her family. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Burial will take place at Songer Cemetery in Tilton.
