Reva E. Holycross

Reva Elaine Holycross, 85, of Perrysville, IN, passed away on September 6, 2020 in Danville, IL. Reva was born in Perrysville on October 6, 1934 the daughter or Roy and Martha Young. On November 5, 1955 Reva married the love of her life Edgar "Jerry" Holycross, he survives.

Also surviving are son, Jay (Ren) Holycross; daughters, Jerilynn (Bill) Billings, Julie (Chuck) Hines; grandchildren, Kylee Eblin, Boone (Kara) Billings, Aliah Hines, Mariah Hines, Madeline Watwood; great-grandchildren, Zaidan Eblin, Brexton Eblin, Liam Billings, Sawyer Billings, Crosby Billings, Archer Billings and Ruby Billings.

Reva is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Martha Young, infant son, Paul Amos and brother, Otto Keith Young.

Reva loved to volunteer at the VA Illiana Healthcare System in Danville and did so for many years. She also volunteered at the Vermillion County War Museum and was a member of the Korean War Veterans Auxiliary. She attended Second Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her friends and loved ones.

A Celebration of Revas life will take place at 11am on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 with Pastor Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9am to 11am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Danville National Cemetery.
