Reginald G. Martin

Reginald Gene Martin,72, of Oakwood passed away at Carle Hospital on July 25, 2020. He was born to Joseph and D. Eileen (Noble) Martin. His parents and brothers, Mike Martin and Brad Martin preceded him in death.

Reginald is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debra (Woodard) Martin. They were married on February 14, 1970. Also surviving are two sisters, Peggy (Don) Lawson, Sharon (Everett) Welty and one brother Randy (Michelle) Martin, two daughters Missy (Jeff) Welch and Amanda (Jeff) Chesnut; grandchildren, Blayz Tapscott, Kaden Lappin, Kacie Lappin, Jeffrey Chesnut, Lily Chesnut, and Brynnlee Chesnut.

Reggie enjoyed anything outdoors and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed bird watching with his wife and going to the beach.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Per Reginalds wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
