Rebecca Dunning

Rebecca Ellen Dunning, age 29, of Murrayville, formerly of Danville, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 in Murrayville. She was born September 22, 1978 in Middlebury, Vermont the daughter of Thomas Dunning and Debra (Miller) Thomas. She is survived by her mother: Debra (Randy) Thomas of Danville; her father Thomas (Bev) Dunning of Murrayville, IL; one sister: Melissa (Phil) Bartlett of West Rutland, Vermont; maternal grandmother: Charlotte Miller of York, PA; an uncle: James Dunning of Alexandria, Virginia; two nephews: Joshua and Jacob Bartlett of West Rutland, Vermont; a special friend: Major Hatfield of Champaign; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Marvin Miller; paternal grandparents: William and Ellen Dunning; and two uncles: Marvin C. Miller and William Dunning. Rebecca graduated from Danville High School in 1998. She liked walking her many dogs all around Danville. She loved Roller Skating and was a fan of Disneys Princess. Most of all Rebecca enjoyed spending time and being around her family. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her. A celebration of the life of Rebecca Dunning will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Danville with Don Prouty officiating. Burial will follow the service at Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm Friday, November 9, 2007 at the funeral home In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Rebeccas name to the family.
