Reanis Boes

Charles Reanis Boes, 94, of Danville, IL passed away January 22, 2007 at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. He was born August 3, 1912 in Bowling Green, IN son of James William and Martha Jane Jordan Boes. He married Natalie H. Jordan of February 4, 1935 in Terre Haute, IN. She preceded him in 1969. He then married Sharon Sue Allison on June 13, 1969 in Normal, IL. She survives along with Son: Charles R. (Guyla) Boes; Grandchildren: Charles William Bill Boes and Mary Lorraine (Chuck) Stelter all of Danville; Great Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Janelle Stelter of Danville and Kyle A. Stelter currently serving in the U.S. Navy. Sisters: Beulah Clingerman of Ft. Myers, FL and Julia Pilant of CoalMont, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Richard, Howard, Russell, Cecil, and Donald and a sister: Bernice. Reanis worked as a custodian at the U of I until retiring in 1975 and was a local farmer. He was a 4-H leader of Henning AG Club for many years. He enjoyed camping, gardening and loved his grandchildren. A Celebration of Reaniss life will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Sunsets Community & Life Tribute Center (former Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Home) 3550 N. Vermilion Street in Danville. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the Community & Life Tribute Center. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Parks Mausoleum in Danville. Memorials may be made to Donors Choice.
