Rayshawn Armand Thomas

Kingman, Ind. - RayShawn Armand Thomas, 22, of rural Kingman, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 30, 2021 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He was born July 3, 1999 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of David D. and Camilla J. (Jerger) Thomas, Sr..

Survivors include his parents of rural Kingman, Indiana; paternal grandmother: Tula Shane of Evansville, Indiana; five sisters: Tianna (Byron) Smith of Evansville, Indiana; Shamill and Vanessa Thomas both of Las Vegas, Nevada; Mikayla and Shanyla Thomas both of rural Kingman, Indiana; three brothers: Jason Thomas of Evansville, Indiana; David D. (Amber) Thomas, Jr. of Princeton, Indiana and Will Thomas of Las Vegas, Nevada; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and his dog: Zeus.

RayShawn was preceded in death by his brother: David Thomas; maternal grandparents: Raymond (Judith) Jerger, Sr.; paternal grandfather: Willie Martin; aunt: Rebecca Martin and uncle: Jesse Jerger.

RayShawn enjoyed basketball, wrestling, track and field, art, writing songs, playing the piano and keyboard, drawing, painting and watching the Chicago Bulls.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 16, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. EDT at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. The family is requesting face coverings to be worn by visitors.
