Raymond Watts, 86 of Westville, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:58 PM at his home. He was born November 9, 1930 in Westville to Estel and Mary {Usalis} Watts. Raymond married Betty Allie on April 7, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville. She survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Carrie (Frank) Hutnicke of Carmel, IN and Mary Watts-Racioppi of Champaign; granddaughter, Lindsey Hutnicke; sister, Betty (Robert) Renfer of San Jose, CA; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Patrice Watts. Raymond was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Danville and the American Legion Post #51 in Westville. He was a tool and dye maker at General Electric for 40 years. Raymond proudly served his country in the US Army during the Koran Conflict. Raymond loved sports. He enjoyed watching and playing all kinds, especially tennis and golf and in his earlier years, football. He cheered for the St. Louis Cardinals and for all the Illini sports. Most of all he loved being around his family and friends. Per Raymond's wishes, private family services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Spring Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in his name to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Westville Library.
