Raymond James Robeck, a loving father and devoted son has been called home to rest in the arms of our father.
Raymond was born in Danville, Illinois. There he wed his hometown sweetheart Debra Ann Thomas, who Blessed him with his only son. In Florida enlisting service to the military. Relocating to Fairport Ohio as an officer in the United States Coast Guard he was trained in fire and rescue, becoming a Fireman and Seaman. After his service his life-long love of nature led him to own a landscaping business that he operated for 20 years. Then in 1998 he returned to his hometown of Danville to care for his aging parents in their own home of 50 years. He tended not only to his family but alongside his father/best friend a beautiful garden, known for its tomatoes. His beloved dog, Digger, now forever at his side as he joins his recently departed mother to prepare the way & wait patiently to one day Ill be reunited again.
He left us on March 23, 2022. Passing away suddenly & quietly in his family home. Raymond James Robeck is preceded in death by his sister, Jayne Marcella Robeck and his beloved mother, Mary Francella (Keenan) Robeck. He leaves behind his only son, Adam Cameron Robeck of Orlando Florida; his father Raymond Henry Robeck, Danville Illinois; siblings, Theresa Mary Robeck of Atlanta/Danville, Elizabeth Ann Keilholz of Danville, Richard John Robeck of Indianapolis, and Robert Joseph Robeck of Atlanta. He lives on in the hearts of his sisters Beths children, Katie, Alex, and Mandy. John Longstead and Andrew Schell, bound to our family by heart also join in our sorrow as we celebrate his life. Raymond's spirit shall watch and guide us as we continue our own paths.
Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Per Raymonds wishes, he was cremated.
