Raymond M. Sloger, 81, of Danville passed away on May 22, 2019 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.
He was born on July 21, 1937 in Danville the son of Charles and Anna (Ambrose) Sloger. He married Theresa Devore and she survives.
Raymond will be deeply missed by his wife, Theresa, sons, Randy Sloger of Danville and Jeffrey (Christy) Sloger of Anchorage, AK, grandchildren, Erin (Ryan) Cordie of Palmer, AK and Bren Sloger of Anchorage, Ak. Raymond will miss seeing his great grandchild that is on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Martin Pietrzak, brother, Phillip Sloger and half-sister, Dolores Pietrzak.
Raymond served in the United States Army and Army Reserves. He worked for Berkeley-Davis for 30 years. When he was able he loved going fishing and camping.
A visitation for Raymond will be held from 1-2 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 North Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834.
