Raymond Burke

Raymond Burke Raymond Burke, 76, of Oakwood, passed away with his family at his side, at 8:05 pm. on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Raymond was born November 27, 1937 in Danville, the son of Robert and Minnie (Baker) Burke. He married Evelyn Calton, on July 17, 1966. She survives. Also surviving is one daughter; Victoria (Robert) Bales of Urbana, one brother; Russell Burke of Arizona, one sister; Erma Wheeler of Oakwood two grandchildren; Samantha Ann, and Robert Raymond both of Urbana. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Robert, Richard, Roy, and Ralph, also one sister; Martha. Raymond enjoyed being retired from Kraft after 28 years. He loved to spend time with family and helping others out with there out door projects. He also enjoyed hunting mushrooms and fishing. A Celebration of Raymonds life will be held on Wednesday January 15, 2014 at 11:00 am. At Sunset Funeral Home Oakwood Chapel, A Life Celebration Home in Oakwood IL.
