Raymond A Ingram

Raymond Allen Ingram, 52, of Indianola passed away on Friday August 8, 2008 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on September 5, 1955 in Danville, IL the son of Charles and Ruby Murray Ingram. He married Patricia Webster. He later married Joyce Dickison on August 11, 1988 in Newport, IN. She survives. Other survivors include his mother Ruby (Dennis) Martin of Indianola, his son Michael Ingram of Terra Haute, IN, his step daughter, Margaret (Cris) Songer of Indianola, his granddaughter, Myka Ingram and his step grandchildren, Brandy, Colt, Dalton, and Leo Songer; his step great grandchild, Krystal Songer; his brother, Charles (Debbie) Ingram of Indianola, his three sisters, Wilma (Bill) Reagan-Ingram of Sidell, Lisa (Steve) Cundiff of Indianola, and Darla Ramey of Terra Haute, IN his stepbrother, Donald Martin of Covington and two step sisters, Lisa Beth Ray of Danville and Lori Winningham of Livingston, TN, his special brother in law, Darrell Ramey of Indianola; several nieces and nephews and many more family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, one infant daughter, Lynn, and his uncle Harold Murray. Raymond worked as a landscaper for Ingrams Nursery for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushrooming, and motorcycle riding. He also enjoyed working on cars. Raymond loved helping people. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. A graveside service for Raymond will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday August 12, 2008 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Indianola. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday August 12, 2008 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home.
