Our little Princess, Raylee Jo Pearson, 2 days old, went to be with the Lord on October 25, 2013. Raylee was born on October 23, 2013, the daughter of Dustin Pearson and Kendra Jo Tucker. Raylee is survived by her mom and dad, Dustin and Kendra Jo of Georgetown; grandparents, Dana and Nancy Pearson of Georgetown and Ken and Jennifer Tucker of Ridge Farm; great grandparents, Jean Ann Pearson of Georgetown, Bonnie Rae Smith of Westville and Jessie Tucker of Ridge Farm; aunts, Amber and Ashley Pearson, both of Georgetown, Krista Tucker of Ridge Farm and Jenna Baity of Westville; Uncles, Nathan Pearson of Georgetown, Ken Robert Tucker Jr. and Jessie Tucker, both of Ohio; cousins, Kaytlynn Bray, Kaiden Barnes, Ostin Merchant, Carson Collom and Olivia Pearson. She was preceded in death by great grandparents, Joseph R. and Vivian M. Boggess, Bill R. Pearson, Chris Tucker and Danny Baity. Raylee Jo was born 6 weeks premature on October 23rd, 2013. The time was 7:40 pm. She weighed 4 pounds and 5 ounces. She was 15 inches long. She was the answer to her parent's prayers. They were selfless enough to give her the chance at life even after knowing of her fatal diagnosis, Anencephaly. Raylee exceeded everyone's expectations by far. After two days, her family was beyond excited to bring their princess home from the hospital. She was only expected to survive for a few minutes. She was her parent's little fighter. Raylee Jo was a very happy baby. She was always smiling and was very vocal. During Raylee's brief time on earth, she enjoyed meeting all of her family and friends, and being held close by her mommy and daddy. She touched many hearts before she was even born and made a huge impact on our community. She was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held from 11 am to 2 pm, on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm with Rev. Gary Farris officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola. Memorial donations may be made to the Raylee Jo Pearson Memorial Fund, at any First Financial Bank location, to help find a cure for anencephaly.
