Randy Dean Reifsteck, age 50, of Danville, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at his home. He was born March 24, 1959 in Danville, IL the son of Chester Jr. and Loretta (Miller) Reifsteck. They survive him. Randy is also survived by two sons: Chad (Valerie) Reifsteck, Austin (Holly) Reifsteck both of Danville; one daughter: Brittney Reifsteck of Westville; one brother: Brad (Maria) Reifsteck of Jamesburg, IL; two sisters: Debi (Michael) Johnson of Mahomet, IL, Brenda Sahd of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two grandchildren: Gavyn and Cala Reifsteck both of Danville; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends. His paternal and maternal grandparents and a nephew Adam preceded him in death. Randy had been owner/operator of Reifsteck Excavating for over ten years. He was a big NASCAR fan with his two favorite drivers being Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Sr. He loved being a handy man, and designed and built his own home. Randy enjoyed playing cards, mushroom hunting, and relaxing with his friends. He spent a lot of his time playing with his grandchildren. He loved his dog Cajun. His many family members and friends will miss Randy. A celebration of the life of Randy Reifsteck will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Danville. Burial will follow the service at Manns Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the funeral home.
