Randy J. Clarkston Sr.

Clinton, Ind. - Randy J. Clarkston Sr., 51, of Clinton passed away at 12:34 a.m. EDT Sunday, June 7, 2020 at his residence.

He was born December 11, 1968 in Danville, Illinois the son of Jack and Laura (Smith) Clarkston.

Randy married Tammy Peevler November 16, 1996 in Rockville, Indiana and she survives.

Also surviving is a daughter: Heather (Brandon) Wilkinson; sons: Randy J. 'R.J.' (Shelby) Clarkston Jr., Jeremy Pollock and Jerrid Dezarn; brother: Brian (Sheri) Clarkston; grandchildren: Caleb, Jaxon, Noah, Wyatt, Eli and Evelyn ; father-in-law and mother-in law Bob (Linda) Bumbery; and his fur babies: Gage, Lewis and Vinny. Randy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents.

Randy was a 1987 graduate of Fountain Central High School. He worked at Advance Auto in Clinton, Indiana for almost seven years as a commercial accounts pro. He also volunteered as a firefighter for the Adams Township Fire Department in Rockville, Indiana for several years. Randy was a huge Cowboys fan and in his spare time he enjoyed playing Xbox, '8-Ball Pool' on his phone, grilling and spending time with his family. Those who knew Randy well will also miss his fluency in sarcasm!

Graveside service: (With Illinois Social Distancing Guidelines) 2 p.m. EDT (Indiana Time) Friday, June 12, 2020 at Songer Cemetery in Tilton, Illinois with Mike Boettcher to read the eulogy; Visitation: (With Indiana Social Distancing Guidelines) 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. EDT Friday, June 12, 2020 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. Contributions may be made to help the family with final expenses.
