Randy Lee Bunting, 50, of Danville, passed away at 12:36 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 at his home. Randy was born on May 17, 1958 in Danville, the son of Dan and Jeannie (McDonald) Bunting. He was previously married to Lynn Bolton of Danville. He is survived by parents, one sister-Carla (Jim) Bailey of Danville; one nephew- Jimmy Bunting of Glendale, Arizona; four nieces- Heaven, Hope, Glorie and Grace Bailey all of Danville. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, one brother- Leslie Bunting and one niece- Jessica Bunting. Randy attended Danville High School. He worked at Esco Corporation for two years as a grinder and later at Bumperworks for nine years as a press operator and was also a union steward there. He was a member of East Park Church of Christ in Danville. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and tinkering around. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed repairing things. A Celebration of the Life of Randy Lee Bunting will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Parks Chapel, with Pastor Dennis Floyd officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service on Tuesday in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
