Randall West

Randall E.(Fun) West, a beloved brother, friend, and accomplished professional, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the age of 66. Randall is survived by his brother Gary and sister Sandra Sullivan and was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy was a proud graduate of Fisher High School (1974) and Parkland College (1976), developing a passion for auto mechanics that would shape his career. He began working as a mechanic for Parkhill Motors, and in a short time, he became Service Manager. He continued in that role, eventually working for Sullivan-Parkhill until his retirement. Even after retirement, he continued to work with Sullivan-Parkhill an independent contractor as a driver to pick up and return vehicles requiring servicing.

Aside from his successful career, Randy co-owned several businesses. His entrepreneurial spirit was an inspiration to many. Randy was a member of the Sons of Amvets Post 52. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed NASCAR, football, and baseball.

Randy also had a large, loving family that included 5 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews whom he adored. He had countless friends who cherished his warm personality, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty.

A Celebration of Life and remembrance for Randy will be held on Saturday, April 29, from 1-3 pm at the Fisher Fairgrounds Glades Hall located at 226 E Sangamon St in Fisher, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Randy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and community. His memory will be forever cherished, and his impact will continue to inspire others for years to come.
