Randall Randy D. Nolan, 53, of Danville, passed away at 7:09 a.m. Wednesday June 3, 2009 at Provena United Samaritan Hospital in Danville, IL. Randy was born October 12, 1955 in Danville the son of Jerry & Sally Louise (Blue) Nolan. He married Betty Lou Emmons on July 18, 1976, they divorced. He later resided with Monika Pedrazoli for 20 years. They both survive. Randy is also survived by his mother Sally, of Danville; two daughters, Jodie Nolan of Danville and Ashley Nolan of Danville; two grandchildren, Justin Connor and Addison Nolan; he was also known as Poppy to Olivia Hickman, Emily Hickman and Mackenzie Pledger; one sister, Kathy West of Danville; one nephew, Jake West; one niece, Jessi Lomax (Pat Alblinger); one great-nephew, Quen Alblinger and a special friend, Laurie Garman & his extended family at Dales Place. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry. Randy graduated from Danville High School in the Class of 1973. He was a member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local 157 in Terre Haute, IN. Randy had many hobbies including bowling, hunting, fishing and throwing darts, but a very unique and special skill he had was restoring antique automobiles. Randy spent many hours perfecting this skill and was proud to be a member of the Illiana Antique Car Club. A celebration of Randys life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL with Pastor Daniel Fienen officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday June 5, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Danville Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Illiana Antique Car Club.
