Randall 'Randy' Fields

Randall "Randy" Earl Fields, 58, of Covington, IN, passed away at 10:56am, Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Franciscan Health Hospital, Crawfordsville, IN. He was born on September 19, 1965, in Danville, IL, the son of Earl and Jackie {Earl} Fields. His father preceded him in death. Randy was united in marriage to Amanda {Scott} Fields, she will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by his sons, Matthew Fields, David Fields, John Fields, and Danny Fields; his daughters, Abigail Fields and Maggie Fields; his step daughter, Taylor Cook; his sisters, Jean Fields of Muncie, Nancy Harry of Covington, Rhonda (Don) ONeal of Lafayette, and Carrie (Will) Largent of Crawfordsville; his nieces and nephews, Michael, Marissa, Jeremy, Kristin, Taryn, Zach, DJ, Dylan, Kyle, and Robbie; as well as several great nieces and great nephews. Randy graduated from Covington High School Class of 1983. Soon after graduation, he joined the US Navy and retired in 2006 as a Senior Chief. He then worked for FAA in Memphis, TN, until 2020. A celebration of Randys life will be held at 5:00pm (EST), Friday, October 6, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932 with Pastor Matt Filicsky officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Friday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be accorded cremation rites with burial later in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington.
