Randall Paul Mayhugh, 37, of Marshall, IL, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on July 11, 1984, the son of Randall and Mary Mayhugh. He married Jessica Burress on June 4, 2011; she survives.
Also surviving are Pauls beloved son, Owen Mayhugh, and his dog, Taz; parents, Randall and Mary; grandparents, Carroll and June Mayhugh of Amelia, OH, Mary Harper of Gulfport, MS; sisters, Carol Palmer, Lori Mayhugh, June Mayhugh, and Mary Hazen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jeffrey and Jennifer Burress, brother-in-law, and Joseph Burress.
Paul was a human rights advocate and enjoyed promoting and protecting the rights of other individuals. As a stay-at-home dad he loved spending time with his son Owen, nieces, nephews, and other family. In his spare time Paul liked to ride his bike and listen to punk music. He was a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm on Saturday December 18, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 with cremation rites to follow.
It is asked that those wishing to attend visitation please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Memorial donations may be made in Pauls name to his son Owen Mayhugh or the Ronald McDonald House of Indianapolis.
