Ramona "Monie" J. Rose

Cayuga, Ind. - Ramona "Monie" J. Rose, 70, of Cayuga, passed away at 3:02 p.m. EDT Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Seton Specialty Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. She was born February 4, 1943 in Silverwood, Indiana, the daughter of the late Thelma Stevenson Reed and Paul D. Delp. She married Quinn Rose on November 28, 1989 in Newport, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Danelle(Chad Lewis)Hale and Tammy(Rodney Pugh)Hetrick both of Cayuga, Indiana; Roxanna(Steven)Kight of Covington, Indiana and Quinnette(Danny)Mullins of Bismarck, Illinois; two sons, Tim(Shari)Hetrick of Catlin, Illinois and Darren Rose of Bismarck, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Brody and Bryce; Jessie and Josh; Ted; Daniel, Alexis and Ryan; one great grandson, Colton; sister, Nancy(Pete)Witsman of Port Richie, Florida; brother, Jerry(Bonnie)Delp of Cayuga, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, and her best friend, Suzie Roach of Cayuga, Indiana. Monie was a homemaker. She was a 1962 graduate of Cayuga High School. Monie enjoyed working on crafts, cooking, playing cards and going to rummage sales. She especially enjoyed time with her family and most of all her grandchildren. Funeral services: 10 a.m. EDT Saturday, August 3, 2013 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Jon Overbey; Burial: Thomas Cemetery, Newport, Indiana; Visitation: 5 to 9 p.m. EDT Friday, August 2, 2013 at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the donors favorite charity.
