Ralph Wilson

Perrysville, Ind. - Ralph Wilson, 103, of Perrysville, passed away at 5:03 a.m. EDT Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his residence.

He was born March 16, 1916 in Fountain County, Indiana the son of the late Elwood and Elzada (Allen) Wilson.

Ralph married Madaline Ellis on November 24, 1937 in Perrysville, Indiana. She preceded him in death on October 5, 1993.

Survivors include his son: Robert (Marlene) Wilson of Covington; Sister-in-Law: Mary Wilson of Perrysville, Indiana; six grandchildren: Eric Wilson; Tina Wilson; James (Beth) Scott; Patrick (Jenny) Scott; Tammy (Mike Earlywine) Scott and Colleen (Tracy) Osborn; twelve great grandchildren: Bobby Holliday; Kayla Holliday; Elizabeth Wilson; Brock Wilson; Sydnee Scott; Noah Scott; Farren Osborn; Tom (Jessica) Osborn; Luke Osborn; Cody Scott; Brittany (Nathan) Ping and Ashley (Jacob) Benson, and one great great grandson: Logan Ping.

Ralph was preceded in death by his daughter: Judy Scott; son-in-law: Merle Scott; seven brothers: Willy, Raymond, Clarence, John, Lee, Russ and Charles, and one sister: Vernie Coleman.

Ralph farmed, worked at the power plant, and drove a school bus for Rabb and Stringtown Schools. He enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting Florida in the winter and his cabin in Wisconsin in the summer. He even took their little dog,Tinker in a car seat. Ralph never missed church, and he spent every Sunday morning ringing the church bells for many years.

Funeral service: 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Perrysville United Methodist Church; Officiating: Pastor Duane L. Mycroft; Burial: Lower Mound Cemetery north of Perrysville, Indiana; Visitation: Noon EDT Thursday, July 25, 2019 until time of services at the church. Contributions may be made to the Perrysville United Methodist Church or to the Donor's favorite charity.
