RALPH A. HUCKSTADT DANVILLE; Ralph A. Huckstadt, 76, of Danville, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2004 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. He was born October 28, 1927 in Danville, the son of Albert J. and Ida Natho Huckstadt. He married Verna Flessner on September 2, 1950 in Danville. She survives. Other survivors include 2 sons: Ralph (Ruth) Huckstadt of Bloomington and Norman (Nora O'Blennis) Huckstadt of Danville, and their daughter Tanya Price; and 3 grandchildren, Heather, Hillary and Justin. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother. Ralph served in the U.S. Army in Korea, prior to the Korean Conflict. He worked at Central Foundry as a mechanical engineer, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, traveling, and visiting his friends. Ralph was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
