DANVILLE- Ralph Dubois, 89, of Danville, formerly of Kankakee, IL, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Danville Care Center Nursing Home. Ralph was born on September 19, 1918, in Decatur, IL, the son of Paul and Martha King Dubois, and later moved to Kankakee, IL in 1922. Ralph attended one-room schools for eight years, graduating from Herscher High School in 1936. In 1946, Ralph married Lardina Lemke in Kankakee, IL. She preceded him in death in 1986. He later married Margaret Juvinall Henry in 1987, in Danville. She survives along with his sister, Pauline Harms of Custer Park, IL, and several of his nieces and nephews. His parents and two brothers also precede Ralph in death. Ralph was self-employed for most of his life; except for a period of time he spent in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, where he attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He farmed the land, until 1956, where he was hired to work for Berrys Seed Store in Bradley, IL, and later, transferred to Danville, where he retired from Berrys Garden Center in 1982, living out the rest of his days in retirement. He enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing cards, and being an active member in the Trinity Lutheran Mens Club.
