Ralph 'Buzz' Leslie Cook

Tolono - Ralph "Buzz" Leslie Cook, 75, passed away on Monday March 6, 2017 at his home in Tolono, IL. He was born on December 26, 1941 in Fisher, IL to Oren and Rosemary (Kinney) Cook. Buzz married Cindy Goodling Knee on January 7, 1999 in Maui, Hawaii. Buzz is survived by his wife; children Ralph Cook Jr., Aaron (Haley) Cook, Angela (Dale Morris) Durbin, Michelle (Greg) Williams, Debra (Kurt Eastin) Frye, and Karl (Melissa) Knee; grandchildren Ray, Sidney, Zachary, Asa, Jason, Alexis, Johnny, and Abel; several step-siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Margie Yager. Buzz was a car enthusiast that enjoyed antique cars and street rods. He loved to travel and was an avid collector of antiques and clocks. Buzz was an active member of Savoy United Methodist Church and often did volunteer work there. A celebration of Buzz's life will be held on Monday March 13, 2017 at 11am at Savoy United Methodist Church, 3002 W Old Church Rd, Champaign, IL 61822. Pastor Marc Brown will officiate. Visitation will be held prior from 9am-11am at the church. Interment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens with church luncheon to follow. Memorial donations may be made in Buzz's name to Savoy United Methodist Church food pantry.
